It had been about a year and a half since my last visit to Hatteras Island. Grateful to finally get back there in early November for a full 4 days. We benefitted from 4.5-5.5 wind 3 out of 4 days...and got some fun SUP surfing waves on the other day. Had fun with some of the old crew and good to see other familiar faces while there. | The remaining portions of the old Frisco Pier are going to be removed pretty soon....before the year is out from my understanding. It was great to surf there one last time before it all comes down. |

| One of the great things about Hatteras Island - you can pull up to most any sand dune, walk across, look in both directions on the beach, and not see a single soul. |
