We took a family trip to the Florida Keys over Thanksgiving. It was highlighted by paddle boarding remote island mangroves in Biscayne National Park, taking a seaplane to Dry Tortugas National Park, and hanging out & paddling in Key West and Islamorada. We saw several sharks while paddling - small Bonnetheads, small Lemons, and some pretty good size Nurse sharks (I caught one on video).
We paddled in and around Jones Lagoon/Key below Adams Key
We stopped at Alabama Jacks when we left Biscayne National Park on the way down the Keys. Great hole in the wall spot - the US Border and Customs Patrol pulled up in one heck of a boat with 4 engines of 1200 horsepower. I don't think anyone was going top outrun them!
We stayed at Oceans Edge on Stock Island just outside Key West
The best food we had the whole trip was at Bien (Caribbean/Latin Fusion). Rated #1 Key West restaurant on Trip Advisor and it didn't disappoint.
The seaplane flight to Dry Tortugas was so cool

Fort Jefferson
Hogfish Bar & Grill on Stock Island was very good and a cool locals spot - get the hogfish tacos!

If you watch Bloodline on Netflix, you probably recognize these pictures - many scenes were filmed here (Moorings Village in Islamorada)
