I love this new GoPro wide-angle camera. It gives a whole new perspective on the sailor's/rider's point of view in the middle of the action. Here's a short 3 minute video of a recent February '09 winter windsurfing session on Lake Norman - the inaugural use of my new wide-angle GoPro. I need to make a slight adjustment to the camera angle. You'll notice my nose, eye lashes, and helmet in the video...it looks funny...actually gives a surreal feeling to the footage since you can see part of my head.

Mark, With the extra boom/handlebar mount I bought, it was a little over $200. I bought it with my recent neighborhood fantasy football league championship winnings :-)
George, I see what you mean...I had to go back and watch it again. I think its the wide-angle camera that gives that exaggerated perspective although my starboard lines might be slightly further back. Notice from the port view, it looks like my starboard lines are a little further back too.
I have a mount on top of my helmet and for my boom so it will be interesting to see those perspectives. I also plan to take it out mtn biking and SUPing.
Very interesting camera and funny too, I would like to know more details.
