Big Saturday on Lake Norman! 30mph+ most of the day and sunny 70s. Some of the guys said it was like sailing at Hood River. You can't really tell in these pictures, but out in the main channel there were some waist high rolling swells. Go here to see some great pics of the local crew lighting it up. I love the wedding shot! Some poor bride was totally pissed about all that wind on that special day. Little did she know just how special it was.
Yeah, Ralph, I got a chuckle out of that. It was so funny seeing the stretched limo pull up, all the dudes and dudettes piling out so formal, while all the windsurfers were standing around with the tops of their wetsuits off (because it was so warm). There's probably a picture somewhere.
