Taking from the Zac Brown Band song, lets leave our worries in the big blue ocean. I'll leave this post to mostly pics & video. Suffice it to say, our trip to Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands was awesome. Fun adventures with the family, got in some windsurfing and paddling, and some much needed time away. Highlights were visiting The Baths, Spring Bay,
Bitter End Yacht Club,
Saba Rock, the entire North Sound area (one of my favorite places - a big playground), Savannah Bay, all the snorkeling, and just relaxing at our rental house on Nail Bay.
CocoMaya,
Saba Rock,
Hog Heaven and
Top of the Baths were the best dining experiences....some of them because of the views alone but the food was very good too. Big thanks to
Andy at HIHO for the SUP board/paddle hookup.

Here is a bonus video....from our BVI trip in 2007 to participate in the world famous HIHO windsurfing race. This event now includes SUP and has been moved to January (it used to be every July). Definitely want to do this again one day soon.
Awesome vacations. ADOPT ME!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memories. I haven't returned to BVI since my dad rented an O'Day 37 in 1981. He rented it for two weeks...including prepacked with our food! for about $800. Bet that's impossible now. Your kids are going to remember The Baths for ever. I know I do. ~Alan
Beautiful. I love the channels among the huge boulders. It looks cozy and protected.
