Good morning from Hatteras Island.
Woke up this morning with a sore body. We sailed for 6 hours straight yesterday in consistent 25mph NE winds...we being the Spring 2010 Windsurfing Magazine board testing crew. I don't think I've ever sailed with a 4.6 for that long. We had about 10 freestyle/wave boards in the 95-105lt range to test and did we ever. We put those boards through its paces and they put us through our paces as well. There are about 10 of us doing the testing...a mix of the locals (Andy, Ann, and Stuart), the inland Charlotte/Greensboro area crew, and a few other out-of-towners. Testing had been taking place for a few days prior to this one and it included testing on 120lt range boards as well. Stay tuned for all the results in an upcoming issue of Windsurfing Magazine...
Stay tuned for a short video but here is a short clip of Stuart flat water looping...
